GR Cup at COTA
A little bit about Toyota GR Cup
Second post from @cota_official for the GT World Challenge Weekend
This one is all about the @officialgrcup
Of course this is Toyota's spec series comprised of their GR86 sports car, but more built up for racing.
A busy weekend for everyone involved with this series. They had two test sessions on the Thursday prior to the weekend, followed by two practice sessions of Friday, qualifying and a race on Saturday, and another qualifying and race on Sunday.
A lot of close racing in this series. I think the best part is when the cars are flying by you with a bumper hanging loose or just something super noticeable missing from the car.
GTWC GT4
Little Blerb about GT4s at COTA
First post from @gtworldchallengeamerica @cota_official
I kind of want to give each post I make from this event a theme, and so for this one, I went with GT4.
@gt4america was at COTA alongside GTWC America, running a full program for the weekend including two practice sessions on Friday, and then a qualifying session, driver autographs, a pre race grid walk, and the main race on Saturday.
While the GT4s are typically less powerful then GT3s, they don't disappoint out on track or in some of the racing action they bring to the table .
NASA TX at ECR pt.2
A few more pictures from @nasa_texas at @eaglescanyon
I probably have two more posts from this event, so I'd call that a mission success
Anyway...
Some photos from NASA TX at Eagles Canyon Raceway pt.2 - I should think of something creative to write here.
NASA TX at ECR pt.1
Last weekend I was out at @eaglescanyon for the @nasa_texas event going on. My main goal was getting some b-roll and video stuff for the video I made, but I had to take a few pictures as well.
A few might be an understatement, but you get the idea.
I had a great time, met a lot of great people on different sides of the paddock as well; a few drivers, some officials, and NASA Texas's regional director. In the two days I was at the track I think I was very productive.
Great event, definitely going to be looking into other smaller motorsports things I can be going to and getting involved in.

My Racing Safety Documentary - A Deeper Look
A "film" put together in collaboration with @Revmatchmedia
This is my first time trying to put something together video wise. I made this for one of my classes, an independent career study course in which all students are responsible for putting together a sort of final product that over views the career they chose to study. My career of choice is Automotive and Motorsports journalism, so I decided to do a racing safety documentary kind of thing as my final product.
Huge thanks to Eagles Canyon Raceway, NASA Texas, World Racing League, and the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, for putting on amazing events from which I gathered footage, and of course NASA Texas for allowing me to interview a driver, an official, and their regional director.
I had a great time working on this, and hope to maybe do some more video work in the future, but for now, this is it. Enjoy!
I published my first Youtube video, and also first attempt at a documentary on Monday April 13, 2026.
The process itself wasn’t nearly as complicated as I felt it would be. I started the process back in February of 2026 at the World Racing League (WRL) Race at Eagles Canyon Raceway (ECR) in Decatur, Texas. I really didn’t have a plan on what to film or even what I really wanted from the final project when I originally went out. I was only there for about two hours, worked with Elias Garcia from Rev Match Media, as he came out to help me, and got some B-roll.
As time wore on and I procrastinated putting the video together, it got to a point where I realized I didn’t have enough actual content discussing anything regarding safety. I had some good B-roll, but that was about it. So I got really lucky with the fact that NASA TX was putting on an event at ECR that I would be able to attend in order to actually get the content regarding race safety, from the people who are involved and responsible for it.
Of course a lot of my project is me talking, but I did manage an interview with Rob Williams, a driver for about 15 years, Marie Adams, the regional director of NASA TX, and one of the NASA officials. I might’ve missed some more opportunity with some interviews considering I had met a number of people at the start of the weekend on Friday that weren’t there on Sunday when I went back. I had to unfortunately miss Saturday due other obligations, but even with that, the interviews I got I felt went well and i’m incredibly grateful for the few people who, while having a bunch of other stuff to do that weekend, put aside some time to help me out.
I also have to mention that the footage of INDY NXT and GR86 cup from Arlington was done by Elias Garcia, as I was out of town and unable to be there, much less with media credentials. So huge thanks to him.
Overall, as an introduction to the video creation space if you will, I felt the whole process went incredibly well, and I’m defiantly up for doing more of this kind of thing in the future.
First bit of photos I finally got edited from the Wolfs Den car meet on April 5th. I have been fairly busy working on things for my church and another project I have going on, but here we are.
It was a fun meet, I loved all the bikes that pulled up as well, not something I see a lot of.
